Emma’s love of language, literature, and food have drawn her to travel since she was young. Though the pandemic stunted her study abroad plans, she seized the opportunity to move to Madrid, Spain, after graduation to teach English as a Second Language at a vocational school. Between teaching responsibilities, Emma spent her summers leading trips in two different regions of Costa Rica and in Hawai’i. Emma continues to be based in Madrid, where she teaches part time and in addition, she is delighted to put her European travel experience to work directing programs in Italy and Greece. When she’s not programming, teaching, or leading trips, Emma is usually on the volleyball court competing with her Madrid-based team.
